Fandom 2019 early thoughts

Looking ahead at fandom in the first part of 2019, I think I’m going to try to focus on getting some older WIPs finished, and working on my probable Captain America Big Bang fic. The Captain America Reverse Big Bang starts first, and I’ve got four arts lined up for it, so that means I’m going to have to seriously consider whether or not I can also write for the RBB. I’ll sign up as both artist and writer so I can see all the arts, but I probably won’t end up trying for a claim unless something really stands out to me that I’d regret not trying for it. I don’t know if all my arts will get claimed, but if so, that would be four separate fics and four separate writers to coordinate with.
Which, if the RBB starts signups in mid January, and I need to get my CapBB fic up to minimum 15K by May/Juneish, then that kind of squeezes out the Kink Bingo Round 3. I had a lot of fun in Round 2, but I also had a lot of time for it because I wasn’t writing for the CapBB, and the author whose fic I had claimed dropped out, so I was suddenly left with a creative hole I had the time and the need to fill.
And I'm currently participating in the Stucky AU Bang as an artist, and that kind of feels like it’s going to go down to the wire. I mean, I hope it won’t go bad like every other bang I’ve tried to draw for, but we’ll see. I’ve got a (un)healthy blend of optimism and cynicism going here.
