Intro post... or not

So, I planned to do an intro post, but then when I actually sat down to do it, it just... didn't want to happen? Like, what am I supposed to put? Subscription policy? I don't have a policy. I don't have any real fandom experience prior to July 2016. I mean, I had things I was a fan of, but I didn't have a fandom. I didn't have groups. I just kind of... existed. There was a lot of yelling into the void. Really, my entire internet experience outside of maybe FB and the old AOL Instant Messenger was just yelling into the void because I had things to say and nobody who wanted to hear it.
tl;dr I tried to make an intro post, but it just got depressing real fast.

Date: 2019-01-22 01:16 am (UTC)I think it helps if people know how best to share your artwork, and whether they should be upset if you don't follow back, etc. The fandom history stuff is really up to you. And not having anything pre-2016 is totally okay???!!! Like, I basically re-entered fandom in 2014 and was like "what is AO3?" "What are bangs?" "What are kinkmemes?" I was modding shit before I knew the difference between a bang and an exchange. (I think fandom has a lot of knowledge that doesn't get properly imparted to newcomers, but that's a separate issue.) Regardless -- you're here, you're making art, and that's awesome! :D
